9월 14, 2025, Santuario di Monte Berico
The Basilica of Santa Maria di Monte Berico is an important Roman Catholic pilgrimage church located on the hill of Monte Berico. Its origins date back to two apparitions of the Virgin Mary, which are said to have appeared to the peasant woman Vincenza Pasini in 1426 and 1428 during a plague epidemic. Mary promised to spare the town if a church were built there, which the population immediately did. The original Gothic church was completed in just three months. The current basilica was built between 1688 and 1703 according to plans by Carlo Borella in the Baroque style, with the Gothic structure incorporated into the new building. The façade was redesigned in the Neo-Gothic style in 1860. Particularly striking are the three symmetrical Baroque façades with 42 figures of saints and three bas-reliefs by Orazio Marinali, as well as the bell tower by Antonio Piovene, erected in 1825. Access from the city is via a 700-meter-long staircase with 150 arches, symbolizing the 15 mysteries of the Rosary and 150 Hail Marys. The basilica is an important center of Marian devotion, attracting numerous pilgrims, and was elevated to a minor basilica by Pope Pius X in 1904.

8월 8, 2025, Gravel Climb to Santa Tecla
A beautiful dirt climb, a bit challenging at first but then more regular. The exposure is southeast, so despite the many trees, it's best avoided during the hottest hours of the summer, but is very enjoyable during the spring and autumn months.

11월 13, 2024, Chiesetta Salve Regina
The Salve Regina church is immersed in the greenery of the town of Valmarana, on the border between the municipalities of Altavilla Vicentina and Arcugnano. Built in 1900 and dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary of Sorrows, it is a peaceful place reachable via a forest path much loved by hikers and cyclists. On May 8, 1904, the first Holy Mass was celebrated here, and shortly after, Pope Pius X granted special indulgences for pilgrims who go there to pray on dedicated occasions. Now, however, the church needs restoration work to preserve its structure and spiritual value; a fundraiser is underway to save it.

11월 4, 2024, Bridge Over the Bacchiglione River
The Bacchiglione is the longest resurgence river in the Veneto and perhaps in Italy (118 km) which originates from the natural area of the homonymous Risorgive, located just north of Vicenza in the municipality of Dueville, a beautiful and idyllic area, worth visiting, where the river originates, continuously drawing water throughout the year from the upper Vicenza plain and the Altopiano dei 7 Comuni and from where a route can start along the banks that reaches the southern lagoon of Venice, where it flows into the Brenta river near Chioggia, without particular differences in height (about 60 m), crossing the cities of Vicenza and Padua. It is an almost entirely navigable river and at the time of the Serenissima it was the main means of transporting goods between Venice, Padua and Vicenza via rafts, which were pulled by oxen along the banks as they went up the current, also thanks to the help of locks that can still be admired along its route. It interfaces with many cycling routes of considerable interest such as the Anello dei Berici, the Treviso/Ostiglia cycle route, the Anello degli Euganei and many others that allow you to discover the vast territories of central Veneto characterised by the presence of the Berici Mountains and the Euganean Hills (both candidates for recognition as a Unesco MAB Biosphere). For much of its route, the Bacchiglione itinerary is in fact one of the most significant sections of the Monaco/Venice cycle route, which after descending from the Brenner Pass and running through the Adige valley, turns east to Verona to reach the Bacchiglione river in Vicenza, which it will then follow to the sea. Following the course of the Bacchiglione it is possible to intercept 3 of the 9 places in the Veneto region included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, namely “Vicenza and the Palladian Villas in the Veneto”, “The 14th Century Fresco Cycles in Padua”, “Venice and its Lagoon”. Given the considerable length of the route, it is possible to reach primary railway stations in several points that allow for an easy return without having to resort to cars or other motorized means. The stations of Vicenza and Padua are a short distance from the route but with modest effort and following well-marked and passable cycle routes you can also reach the station of Grisignano di Zocco following the Treviso/Ostiglia or Grimana cycle paths.

7월 5, 2024, Palazzo della Ragione
Palazzo della Ragione: the medieval town hall with a special and gigantic roof (an inverted ship's hull). From the first floor you have a beautiful view over the square. You can visit the room with the 15th century frescoes. They represent the months of the year, the arts, the professions and the signs of the zodiac. There is also a stone of shame (on which people with debts had to sit in public), the Trojan horse from 1466 (which was used during a carnival parade, it contained the staff of the Capodilista family, the owners). On the ground floor of the building there is a corridor with loggias, where there are now many stalls with delicacies.

7월 4, 2024, Palazzo della Ragione
At 82 meters long and 27 meters wide, the Salòn or Palazzo della Ragione, the ancient seat of the city courts of Padua, is one of the largest hanging courtrooms in Europe. Recognized as one of the most famous civil monuments built in Europe. The building contributed to a revolution in the construction concepts of the Middle Ages and is a symbol of the city of Padua. The Palazzo della Ragione, popularly called "Il Salone", is indeed one of the largest covered spaces in Italy that has no equal in Italian civil architecture. Regarding the history of the building, it is reasonable to think that the place where the current palace stands was built and inhabited in previous centuries. Below the palace a memory of Roman times remains and the Romanesque heads, sculpted on the posts of the arches leading to the market below the hall, are proof of this. The exact date of the original construction is not known, but the lower part of the building, which had public functions, already existed in 1166. The Palazzo today: It is currently used for major artistic exhibitions and events, while the ground floor is still used, as in ancient times, as a food market. The old shops under the hall form one of the most evocative and characteristic corners of Padua. Each store is full of high-quality food products: cheeses, meats, sausages and fish from all over Italy. There are also typical local products and gastronomic novelties, real "delicacies" of pleasure that every trader wants to showcase with a view to a general recovery of good and authentic food and a rediscovery of forgotten traditions and flavors. The climb is simply beautiful, with a good view every time. Somewhat steeper sections are followed by flatter ones, with the surface mostly gravel that is easy to ride on. There is only a short road up to there.
