Its crumbling walls and towers have become the symbol of the village, a true testament to its glorious past.

Calizzano is a village in the province of Savona, in the Ligurian hinterland, known for its wooded landscape and tranquility. It is an ideal destination for lovers of outdoor activities such as hiking and mountain biking, and for mushroom and chestnut picking. The town is renowned for its mineral waters and springs considered beneficial, such as the "Cruvoyra."
