The "Dyrehave Mølle" is one of the tallest mills in Denmark, with its 25 meters, seven floors, and a floor. It was built in 1858 using a large number of bricks. The Douglas fir sails measure 32 ells, approximately 20 meters in length, and are fitted with wooden sails. The windmill cap is lined with zinc sheets and features a small mill – a "fan frame" that turns the sails in the direction of the wind. In ancient times, the mill cap was manually turned into the wind, and the sails were covered with canvas. The finished products were loaded onto the wagon from the first floor. The second is a granary. On the third floor, the flour was filled into sacks. The large drive wheel is located on the fourth floor. The sails are also raised from here. The fifth floor is the elevator, the sixth is the dust floor, and the last is in the windmill cap. The mill has been owned by the Jensen family since 1916. https://www.visitnyborg.de/nyborg/reiseplanung/dyrehave-windmuehle-gdk613252

The water tower at "Dronningen's Bastion" is a unique example of contemporary industrial construction at its best. It was declared worthy of preservation in 1997 and is unique because its sanitary facilities are largely intact. As far as is known, it is the only water tower in Denmark with a preserved water tank made of riveted steel plates. Originally, the town was supplied with drinking water from the castle lake. From here, it was piped in drilled oak logs connected by iron sleeves to the various water taps in the town. Three generations of the Kjellerup family ensured that the system functioned for over 100 years. The oak logs are still frequently encountered during excavations in the town, and a few are preserved in the castle cellar. Such a water supply was, of course, not very hygienic, and after the cholera epidemic, the city council repeatedly discussed the construction of a proper waterworks. The first waterworks, based on groundwater drilling, was inaugurated in 1872. It was located below the water tower and was a larger building complex. To create enough space, part of the moat was filled with sand. The waterworks was demolished, and the moat now has its original appearance. The water tower measures 22.4 meters from the ground to the top of the roof. Measured from the inside, it is 24 meters high; for comparison, the "Rundetårn" in Copenhagen is 36 meters high. https://www.visitnyborg.de/nyborg/reiseplanung/der-wasserturm-der-dronningens-bastion-gdk761912

Nyborg Castle (Danish: Nyborg Slot, also Danehofslottet) is located in the town of Nyborg, about 29 kilometers southeast of Odense on Funen. The castle was built around 1170 by Duke Knud Prislavsen, a nephew of Valdemar the Great, as protection against the Wends. In 1282, Erik V Glipping signed the first Danish charter here. This charter transferred the supreme court from the king to the Danehof, the first Danish parliament, which met at Nyborg Castle. When Erik VII moved to Copenhagen, the castle there became the center of royal power in Denmark until 1416. Nyborg, however, remained another royal residence. The castle was later used as an armory and granary. During the Counts' Feud (1533–1536), the castle was conquered twice. Christian III. He subsequently expanded the castle and fortified it with a large rampart. Christian IV had the castle further expanded in 1607 by the Italian architect Domenicus Badiaz. During the war with Sweden (1658–1660), three-quarters of the castle were destroyed. Part of the building materials were reused in 1722 to rebuild the castle in Odense. Nyborg itself remained a garrison town until 1913. After the garrison was dissolved, the castle was reconstructed by Morgen Clemmensen from 1917 to 1923. Today, the castle houses a museum. Two half-towers and the gatehouse from Erik's time can still be visited. One wing of the former royal palace, including a large ballroom, has been preserved. Three halls depict Nyborg's history during the time of the Danehof, Queen Margaret I, and Christian III. https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schloss_Nyborg

At 25 meters high and with seven floors – also called "ceilings" – the "Deer Park Mill" in Nyborg is one of Denmark's tallest wind turbines. The mill was built of stone in 1858. The turbine blades, made of Douglas fir, are 32 ells long, approximately 20 meters long, and equipped with wooden "sails" arranged vertically, forming a surface that causes the blades to rotate. Dyrehavemølle is a Dutch gallery mill on the edge of the former royal Dyrehvae, which belonged to the Royal Palace. The mill is located on the highest point in the city, it is well preserved and tells the story of a vital Danish industry. The mill roof is clad with zinc plates and features a small windmill, a so-called "wind rose." The wind rose causes the turbine blades to rotate upwards, in the direction of the wind. In the past, the mill hat was turned by hand, and the sails were then fitted with fabric sails. From the first floor, the finished products were loaded onto the wagons. The second floor is a granary. In the third attic, the finished flour was sacked. The fourth floor is the mill roof, and from here, the turbine blades are set in motion. The fifth floor is the elevator, which is also powered by the wind. The sixth loft is a dust loft, and the seventh loft is located in the mill hat. Access to the mill is available for selected events, and guided tours for up to 15 people can be booked at the Østfyns Museér. https://www.visitnyborg.dk/nyborg/planlaeg-din-tur/dyrehave-moelle-gdk613252
