Durante las obras de demolición del puente Weserbrücke (construido entre 1950 y 1953, inaugurado y abierto al tráfico el 13.10.1953), se descubrió el pavimento de la calle del puente predecesor (1898-1945). La comunidad del pueblo de Fuhlen ha asegurado la superficie pavimentada (aproximadamente 170 m² en total) y la devolverá a un uso restaurado históricamente. El pavimento consta de piedras de basalto azul, de tamaño bastante uniforme y cuadradas, con unas dimensiones de 12 cm x 12 cm x 12 cm.
