볼프스부르크 퓔펠트 지역에 위치한 퓔펠트 수문 그룹은 독일 공학 기술의 인상적인 예이며 미텔란트 운하(237km)의 중심 허브입니다. 더 높은 곳에 있는 'Scheitelhaltung'과 엘베 방향의 'Osthaltung'을 연결합니다. 원래의 남쪽 수문은 노후화되어 현대 선박에는 너무 좁았습니다. 철거 후 4년간의 공사 끝에 2008년에 개장한 신축 건물로 교체되었습니다.

The remains of the mill complex, the weir with its weir bridge, and the foundation walls of the mill buildings are now protected as historical monuments.
