Between Minfeld and Winden, just before the railway line, there is a paved cycle path with a sign pointing left to Bad Bergzabern. This is mostly made of concrete and its surface is occasionally cracked and has a few holes. I don't recommend the route for road bikes, but with gravel, MB and eBikes you get the best views of vineyards and agricultural areas. Looking west you can see the Palatinate Forest with its collection of castles and ruins. The Stäffelsturm tower above Dörrenbach also greets you. If you want to go to Bergzabern, take the turnoff to the right at the end and follow the signposted cycle path. The left exit leads onto the cycle path towards Schweigen or onto the road towards Steinfeld.
