Especially in summer, Lake Ohmbach is a great place for all ages. There are restaurants, boat rentals, playgrounds, a campsite and plenty of benches. A walk along the shore is about 3 kilometres long.

The Old Town Hall is located on the Frichtmarkt in the old town of St. Wendel. The building was built in 1802 and is a listed building.

7월 8, 2024, Schlossplatz St. Wendel
In the 16th century, a house that belonged to the Soetern family stood on the site of the current town hall. After several changes of ownership and renovations and new buildings, in 1824 Duchess Luise moved to St. Wendel and into this very house. It was now called the “Ducal Palace” and the square was named after it. In 1857, the large building became the property of the town and from 1922 it was the town hall of St. Wendel.
