Beautiful natural recreation area. Ideal for hiking or cycling. You can combine both lakes (Vogelwoog and Blechhammerweiher) for a long hike. Refreshments are available at Kaffe Vogelwoog, Marinekameradschaft Kaiserslautern.

Despite several changes of management in recent years, they haven't found anyone here who can cook. Drinks are great and idyllic. But several attempts to eat have failed. The quality is poor and the prices are completely exorbitant. One plus point are the beers here – a great and constantly changing selection.

With a view of the Vidaukt, this is a great place to take a break. And if you look in the other direction, you can see the Eiswoog. :-) A beautiful and highly recommended place to stop by on a hike.

The MTB3 is one of the best tours in the northern part of the Palatinate Forest. The section described is great for riding in both directions and offers alternating singletrack up and downhill sections and forest trails.
