Seven stone gnomes in the Dahlener Heide. Seven gnomes resting bench. Information: Remnants of a boulder that was blasted during the straightening of the Dahle stream in 1937. The stone fragments, made of white and red granite, were incorporated around the resting bench.

A covered rest area with the inscription "Municipality of Schmannewitz" and an information box "Heidetouristik - Dahlener Heide" (Heathland Tourism - Dahlener Heath) about the hedgehog, located in the Dahlener Heide. Information: Heidetouristik Information Box: Wooden boxes or information signs are located at some hiking destinations. Each one "hides" a local animal. Hedgehogs prefer to live near humans. They hibernate during the winter months, maintaining a reduced body temperature. The Dahlener Heide is a protected landscape area in northern Saxony and covers approximately 150 km².

Sack Hopper Statue in Dahlen. Information: Bronze sculpture of a sack hopper on a base made of fieldstones. Built in the 20th century. The town of Dahlen, nicknamed "Sack Hopper Town," derives its name from a legend in which a brave boy prevented an assassination attempt on Emperor Henry by hopping to the emperor in a sack to warn him. This legend is symbolized by a bronze sculpture in the market square, a landmark of the town.

According to legend, a boy from Dahlen was captured and put in a sack while trying to warn Emperor Henry of a Sorbian trap. The boy managed to escape by hopping to the emperor in the sack.
