Dogs not welcome!!! Beautiful natural pool, but the older generation of people here is very grumpy. They feel very offended when, after a long hike with your dog in 30-degree heat, you finally find a place to cool off for everyone... Unfortunately, we only discovered later that the people there recommended the Pee Corner as a place to sit by the stream! It's a naturally dammed pool, free of chemicals, and without any signage clearly stating that dogs are not allowed. But an elderly lady is there who emphatically reminds you that dogs are not welcome here. It's a real shame...

The Syrau Windmill is open from May 1 to October 3 on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. During July and August, opening hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Probably the most idyllic bike path in Plauen. Cars are no longer allowed here. It climbs steeply into the Syratal Valley and just as steeply back out again.
