Komoot tip: Large peat bog in Hille The Large peat bog in Hille is a beautiful nature reserve and a real highlight for hikers and cyclists. The well-developed paths lead through an impressive moor landscape with rare plants and animals. The circular path around the moor is particularly recommended, as it offers great views of the wide, open areas. A highlight is the observation tower, from which, with a bit of luck, you can spot cranes, birds of prey or even rare moor frogs. The atmosphere here is particularly magical early in the morning or just before sunset. Tip: Bring good shoes, as some paths can be muddy depending on the weather. If you want to find out more about the moor, you can read the information boards along the way or visit the NABU visitor center. Perfect for a relaxed tour in nature!
