The castle pond is a small pond in Rottleberode, measuring 7.63 hectares. The water is considered to be rich in fish. All important Central European fish species such as eel, perch, pike, carp, roach, rudd and tench are found here, making it interesting for anglers of coarse and predatory fish. Fishing from a boat is prohibited and night fishing is permitted. Guest anglers can purchase fishing permits for this water.
