The Frauenberg was probably already a cult site, a sacrificial site, and a castle-fortification complex with four sections in pre-Christian times. During the GDR era, an East German radio tower of the NVA (National People's Army) was located on the mountain plateau. Today, you can enjoy the views "of the countryside," which are also well explained by numerous information panels.

Behind the tower the trail goes straight into the ground and after 200 m there is a well-built jump, then about 2 lots of fun with tight bends. There is a tree lying across the road at the moment that cannot be avoided.

From this rest area on the almost 453 meter high Kautsberge you also have a great view of the Kyffhäuser Monument and the castle courtyard. The perfect place for a little picnic!
