Great rest area with a stamp point on the Selke.

The view of the Brocken is getting darker. Unfortunately. Nice place nonetheless.😉🤣

Here there is not only a bench and a stamp for the Harzer hiking pin and a small triangular shelter, but also a tree game where big children and small children can experience how much the trunks of different trees differ in weight from each other.

Great rest area and HWN stamping point, you can't miss it on a hike through the beautiful Selketal

The hut was rebuilt by Harzclub. The previous one was dilapidated. It looks like a small church and is also nicknamed the chapel.

A nice place to rest, on the other side of the bridge there is another refuge and a few seats next to a stamping point of the HWN.

Here you have a very nice view to the south of the Kyffhäuser, which is Germany's smallest low mountain range. Depending on the lighting conditions, it looks a bit contourless. Only when hiking from the north or from the Golden Aue does it become apparent how rugged the northern slopes rise from the plain. Not only the castle and the monument but the entire ridge is a very worthwhile excursion destination and worth more than a hike.
