Great rest area with a stamp point on the Selke.

The view of the Brocken is getting darker. Unfortunately. Nice place nonetheless.😉🤣

A nice place to stamp the Harzer hiking nobility and often well attended on weekends.

The hut was rebuilt by Harzclub. The previous one was dilapidated. It looks like a small church and is also nicknamed the chapel.

Here you have a very nice view to the south of the Kyffhäuser, which is Germany's smallest low mountain range. Depending on the lighting conditions, it looks a bit contourless. Only when hiking from the north or from the Golden Aue does it become apparent how rugged the northern slopes rise from the plain. Not only the castle and the monument but the entire ridge is a very worthwhile excursion destination and worth more than a hike.

Another small rest area is located diagonally across the street in the direction of Meisdorf, right on the course of the Selke creek! You can reach it over a bridge.

Fantastic at sunset, but worth it anytime! One of the most beautiful stamping points of the HWN. From here you can go down the Mägdetrappe to Mägdesprung or continue on the pioneer path to Alexisbad.
