이곳은 잘 알려지지 않아 붐비는 Sahalie Falls의 완벽한 대안입니다. 주차도 훨씬 쉽고 더 많이 가능합니다. 유일한 단점은 (제가 알기로는) 정말 이용 가능한 화장실이 없다는 것입니다. 루프 트레일을 이용하면 Sahalie Falls까지 쉽게 하이킹할 수도 있습니다.

Sahalie Falls greets cyclists with a breathtaking cascade as they arrive at the Sahalie Falls viewpoint. Though cyclists must dismount to fully appreciate the spectacle, the roaring waters plunging gracefully into the pool below offer a serene and mesmerizing sight, surrounded by verdant foliage and rugged cliffs.

Nestled among the mountains, a twin-bodied lake, nourished by Mount Washington's snowmelt. This pristine source is the lifeblood of Eugene, providing its sole drinking water supply.

Tamolitch Falls, whose name is inspired by the Chinook jargon word for "bucket", also known as Blue Pool, boasts enduring allure. A lava flow from Belknap Crater buried a 3-mile stretch of the river 1,600 years ago, only to reemerge at Tamolitch Pool, seeping through porous lava to create its striking turquoise hue.

Majestic Falls, the crown jewel of McDowell Creek Park, enchants visitors with a staircase of 69 steps, granting diverse perspectives of its 39-foot cascading beauty. Journey from a broad platform to a lower vantage point and a picturesque wooden bridge for an unforgettable encounter.

Nestled in the heart of McDowell Creek Falls County Park, Royal Terrace Falls reigns as the crown jewel, a 119-foot tiered masterpiece. Amidst the natural splendor, enjoy picnics and the serene allure of fishing and wading in the pools below.

Cascadia State Park is just off Highway 20 and offers a nice rest area as well as a campground. I highly recommend the short hike to the romantic Lower Soda Creek Falls. This area was once the location of a sawmill and a hotel. There are no remnants of this era but the old soda spring next to the creek.

Sahalie Falls is one of two tumbling waterfalls that you can visit along a short loop trail. The hike is a great stroll for the whole family.
