At 286 feet high, Salt Creek Falls is the second highest single drop waterfall in Oregon. A short walk from the parking area leads to an observation deck with excellent views of the falls. There is also a short, steep trail to the base of the falls.

Stuart Falls is a well hidden gem within Crater Lake National Park. For a day hike it is best accessed via the Pumice Flat Trail from a picnic area. If you are hiking along the PCT, you have to hike around four miles from the junction and back.

If you are running out of water, the pond can be a water source. Otherwise just enjoy the beauty of this little pond and find water at one of the numerous lakes in the area.
