The windmill built in 1872 shaped the village of Nossentin for over 70 years. The bright bricks, which were probably made in the Nossentin brickworks, are quite typical. The mill had been operated by the Gundlach family since 1877 and came into the possession of the Uecker family at the end of the 19th century. Around this time, a steam bakery was added to the mill, which was in operation until 1950 (source: information sign).
