The descent used to be really good. But that was a while ago. The road is now in very bad condition, with so many potholes and patches that a nice speed descent is hardly possible anymore.

The Fleckenstein is a very beautiful swimming pond. It is also possible to eat at the restaurant next to the beach. Entrance is free and you can have a large free car park right next to it.

I've been down here several times when the Gimbelhof was closed. Even when it's open, there's relatively little traffic here, as I've known since the day before yesterday. I can't give any information about Sunday traffic.
