The observation tower belonging to the original Schell-Pyrmont Castle was built in 1824 by the sovereign Prince Georg Friedrich of Waldeck-Pyrmont and is thus one of the oldest observation towers in a spa town.

Not that high, but the view from the top is good and you can visit the tower 24 hours a day. Depending on the route you choose, the route can be strenuous, especially in summer if it is too warm.

The Schellenberg Tower goes back to an old castle - Schell Castle. Where the keep once provided a view of the country, the reconstructed tower can now be climbed. The height is limited, but thanks to its location you still have a wonderful view of Bad Pyrmont and Lüdge. Therefore, this vantage point is hardly inferior to the larger Spelunkenturm. Above all, there is a bench where you can sit and enjoy the view of Pyrmont in peace.
