Bensersiel is worthwhile in every season. The extensive beach area with the beautiful harbor are always a feast for the eyes.

It's also easy to drive from Bensersiel to Holtgast. You drive on a hill (like on the dike), it is finely gravelled, 2 bicycles pass each other. Wonderful view, always along the water.

Harbor The futuristic dyke bridges, whose white pillars soar impressively, can be seen from afar. From here you have a wonderful panoramic view of the picturesque harbor. In good weather you can even see the East Frisian Islands or the church tower in neighboring Esens. With the first rays of the sun, the fishing cutters set sail and the ferry to Langeoog also departs from here.
