A beautiful historic building. With a huge section of the mill's machinery on display in front. I've walked past and through it a few times. It's always a great photo opportunity. Nearby, you'll also find some benches and a book exchange right next to the mill.

In recent years, visiting this place has become a mixed bag. The food can be good, but it's not always guaranteed. The restaurant has changed hands frequently, and each owner tries something different. And that doesn't always work. But the good news is: coffee and a beachy vibe are always available in the summer.

A truly beautiful church. It dominates the main square and the townscape. It boasts a lovely, well-maintained forecourt and plenty of places to rest. The church itself is dedicated to Saint Wenceslaus and was originally built before 1578. The church in its current form was erected in 1780 and has been a listed building since 2002. You'll also find several places to eat and drink nearby, on the main square.

Great atmosphere, wonderful view, and good grape juice in friendly company. We like it here.

The best view in the district and always worth a visit. In summer, you can also experience live events on a specially installed stage in the castle courtyard as part of the Güssing Summer of Culture. But the well-preserved castle is worth seeing even at other times. And the view... absolutely stunning.

It's practically the "center of the world" in Southern Burgenland. It's been perched atop a volcanic cone for centuries and is impossible to miss. And the view from the top is truly magnificent, in all directions. Admission to the castle courtyard and the view is free. However, exhibitions on various topics are also regularly held within the walls themselves. An admission fee applies for these. All in all, a must-see for every visitor to Southern Burgenland.
