The cycle path along the A20, connecting to the K56 route, now presents itself in a completely new condition. The previously crumbling concrete, which made every ride a test of vibration for both riders and bikes, has been completely resurfaced and paved. This makes the route significantly more comfortable and safer to ride. A very positive measure that noticeably improves the cycling infrastructure in the region and makes the route significantly more attractive for both everyday commuters and recreational cyclists.

As I crossed the A20 before Bittersberg today, the road looked like it was paved, so I stopped for a photo! Yes - now covered with smooth, new asphalt (see the black and white photo)!

Really a very romantic place that invites you to browse around!

The Veste Landskron is a little off the beaten path on a single-lane country road. But a visit is absolutely worth it, because the ruins are comparatively very well preserved. A club takes care of the maintenance and does a great job! The castle ruins are very winding and resemble an adventure playground. There is something new to discover around every corner and one intention is more beautiful than the other. Absolutely worth seeing! 💚

Yes, it's really grueling; the concrete track feels like it never ends. But it's doable, so no one needs to reschedule their trip! Gravel would be better. It's been repaired and paved smooth!
