In Mirsini, the Kafenion Kathodon is located on a hill above the Agios Nikolaos - Sitia road. You can just have a Greek coffee or a bite to eat there. The kafenion is not very touristy; But the climb is worth it just because of the view. We stopped here several times.

Móchlos can be reached from Pachiamos via Platanos, where you should definitely get off to enjoy the view over the gulf. Then you drive down a dust-soaked path past the limestone quarry. From the direction of Sitia you can also do a short hike from Sfaka to Móchlos. So you can combine something sporty with a wonderful evening by the sea in Móchlos with good fish.
