The history of the lovingly designed museum village with its wonderful shotwood houses began in 1990. The Erlichthof settlement was officially opened in 1997 as part of the nature and fishing festival. The Erlichthof with its historic heath houses has now grown into a small village with a farm museum, tourist information, restaurants, traditional workshops, small shops and the wolf museum. There are always exhibitions, guided tours, various holiday offers and of course you can also stay overnight in the holiday accommodation. Definitely worth seeing facility.

The Erlichthof Rietschen is a lively museum village with scrap wood houses in eastern Saxony. In the Upper Lusatia region, it is a magnet for visitors because of its numerous offers, markets and festivals, but also because of the wolf exhibition there. The Erlichthofsiedlung is located directly on the federal highway 115, which connects the cities of Görlitz and Cottbus. It is a ten-minute walk from the Rietschen train station to the Erlichthof. The adventure farm is located directly on the Wolfsradweg, it is one of the most important sights in Lusatia and is ideal as a destination for families and holidaymakers.
