Lake Tegel in Reinickendorf is the second largest lake in Berlin with a total area of around 450 hectares. Around Lake Tegel, city dwellers seeking relaxation can enjoy a wide range of leisure and dining options. To the north of the lake, there are playgrounds, park benches with a view of the water and a mini golf course. Small cafes and restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the recreational area invite guests to linger and have a snack. The citizen deposit is a bathing place in Spandau. The name comes from the former storage for wood at this point. Freshly felled tree stumps were stored here in abundance. The proceeds from the sold wood did not benefit the combing department, but the citizens' cash register.
