7월 31, 2025, Schiefer Turm von Walbersdorf (Glockenturm)
Opposite the Catholic church is the Protestant bell tower. During the Reformation, Walbersdorf was a Protestant stronghold in Burgenland. After the Edict of Toleration in 1781, when Protestant Christians were again allowed to publicly profess their faith, a dispute arose over whether the bells of the Catholic church should be rung at Protestant funerals. It is said that the issue was also about money, as was the possibility of a fee being paid for the ringing. The people of Walbersdorf could not agree. So, in 1800, the Protestants finally built their own bell tower, because no one should embark on their final journey without hearing the sound of the bells. They built it as a small, self-assured symbol directly opposite the local Catholic church. Shortly after its construction, the tower began to lean. 7월 29, 2024, Former Hochwolkersdorf Castle
The castle, built in 1543 by Hans Freiherr von Weisspriach, was rebuilt in 1805 under the rule of Guldenstein. The castle, which is located in the middle of the village, received its current appearance in 1805. During its existence, the castle served mostly as a state youth home and since 1997 it has been owned by Reintegration Gemeinn. sozialtherapeutische Wohngemeinschaft GmbH (alcohol withdrawal clinic).

The tower of the Turk's fall collapsed. With it, the crescent moon at the top also fell into the depths (the district papers reported). Now the crescent could be found. GLEISSENFELD (ts/e_peinsipp). The Turk's Fall is a landmark that can be seen from afar for the nature park and the hiking area with historical significance. But recently part of the ruin, which was artificially created over 200 years ago, collapsed. Parts of the boulders rolled through the forest to the hiking trails that began in the valley. Now the long-lost crescent that sat at the top of the Turk's Fall Tower could be handed over to the community again.
