ImReserve Olympic Regatta Course Since 1920, the Frankfurt rowing clubs have organized regular regattas. The athletes came with their boats from all over Germany. After 1922, the boathouse, the finisher's tower and, opposite, a completely covered tribune with a thousand seats were built. For the 1936 Olympic Games, the Brieskower See regatta course was considered an alternative route for Berlin Grünau. The war brought everything to an abrupt end. The grandstand was destroyed, the boathouse and the finisher's tower were badly damaged. Today the boathouse is managed by the Schneider fishery from Brieskow Finkenheerd.

The Radlerhof will be closed in 2023. May reopen next year. Another place to stop for refreshments is right next door. There is also seating in front if you don't want to stop.

It's no longer an insider tip, but it's still worth it. The Vogelsang power plant is a standard power plant built towards the end of the Second World War. It never went into regular operation and was dismantled after the war as reparations. The building envelope with the two chimneys, each 100 m high, is still preserved. The power plant is the only monument to the industrial boom in Fürstenberg (Oder). Almost all other testimonials have disappeared.
