Great observation tower and you can walk in... the landlord makes Tyrolean dumplings and there is Watzdorfer Pils on tap 😜🙏 Note!!!! NO typical Thuringian cuisine... no roulades or anything like that....

Great destination 🙏 By the way, the local gastronomy is highly recommended... Homemade dumplings with a Tyrolean recipe ☝️ But be careful... not typical Thuringian cuisine... but super tasty 🥰

Great menu and amazing views. And of course the descent along the old bobsleigh track (1926 - 1963) is simply wonderful 🦊🙏

At an altitude of 786.1 m, we reach the Meuselbacher Kuppe. The inn with its tower is unfortunately closed. Today, the view over the valleys and mountains is dull and gray.

Open again since December '22.

The place and Schwarzburg Castle briefly moved back into the center of German history on August 11, 1919, when Reich President Friedrich Ebert and after him all the ministers of his government were relaxing in the Hotel Weißer Hirsch (minister) or in the villa that belonged to the hotel at the time "Schwarzaburg" (Ebert) signed the Weimar Constitution.
