Great observation tower and you can walk in... the landlord makes Tyrolean dumplings and there is Watzdorfer Pils on tap 😜🙏 Note!!!! NO typical Thuringian cuisine... no roulades or anything like that....

Great destination 🙏 By the way, the local gastronomy is highly recommended... Homemade dumplings with a Tyrolean recipe ☝️ But be careful... not typical Thuringian cuisine... but super tasty 🥰

At an altitude of 786.1 m, we reach the Meuselbacher Kuppe. The inn with its tower is unfortunately closed. Today, the view over the valleys and mountains is dull and gray.

Hey! The Oberweißbacher Bergbahn consists of a 1351 meter long funicular and a connecting 2635 meter long standard gauge railway. Since 1922, it has connected the Obstfelderschmiede stop on the Schwarzatalbahn (town of Schwarzatal) with the municipality of Cursdorf. An imposing technical monument.
