The old town of Saarburg with the castle, the church, the mill museum and the waterfall is definitely a magnet for visitors, at least in the summer months. Unfortunately, the old town is usually flooded with tourists on the weekends.

This Saarland motif is worth a visit at any time of year and invites you to enjoy a magnificent and astonishing view. From here, there are numerous hiking and biking trails. Whether for young or old, there's something for everyone here. Definitely worth a detour.

Really worth seeing town with a beautiful castle ruin located on the Saar. The Leukbach with the waterfall flows through the old town center. It is definitely worth stopping at the restaurants, cafes and wine bars in the city center. There are some of them in Saarburg.
