Through the natural monument Elendsklamm and the beginning of the Sickinger Höhe with the pigeon head on the German premium hiking trail. When inspecting in late autumn and winter, make sure that you have weather-appropriate equipment. In midsummer the gorge offers a welcome cool hiking trail.

Beautiful view of the lake in the evening at sunset !! There is a very nice beer garden at the Vogelwoog Art Cafe, where you can find delicious food and ice cream. You have to try the honey at Uwe's art coffee. He is so great !! On some weekends there is live music from Uwe !! There is also a beautiful forest playground for the little rascals. Very nice place to end the evening. Around the Vogelwoog you can go jogging and hiking very well. And if you want to do a bigger round, you still run around the metal hammer.
