With Bärenhöhle this features a great (and pretty overfull) climbing/outdoor shop. They have all the gear you expect (and actually more) plus a wide selection of clothes also from brands you do not find in the standard online shops. Worth a visit on its own.

Nice beer garden and great, large courtyard with cattle and pig breeding. Point of contact for climbers in the Bärenbrunnertal.

Beautiful hut below the Kühhungerfelsens with large outdoor area and playground. Friendly host and good food with daily offer in addition to the "usual" Pfälzer Hüttengerichten. If there are offers: The lumberjack's cakes, the rumpsteak with chanterelles and the Fleeshknepp with horseradish sauce were tried and found to be recommended.
