One of the most famous flow trails on the Schauinsland: approximately 2.6 km long, varied, and built with berms, jumps, and tables – ideal for advanced mountain bikers. The trail is officially designated and very popular, therefore well-frequented on weekends. Protective gear and a full-suspension bike are recommended.

From the Kybfelsen, you have impressive views over Freiburg, the Dreisamtal Valley, and, on a clear day, all the way to the Vosges Mountains. The rock lies above the Sternwald Forest and is a popular rest stop—perfect for a panoramic break or a sunset photo.

The 8th section of the Can 7 Trail leads through the heart of the nature park—a technically varied route with roots, small drops, and flowing sections. Challenging, but very fun for experienced mountain bikers. Please be considerate of other trail users, as hikers may also be on the trail.
