The pond is located very close to the monastery ruins, and you'll inevitably pass by. There's a single shady bench and a table and chairs here. It's a good place for a short rest. We were able to observe Euphemia's aforementioned gander in action. It's best not to get too close.

There are three ponds next to each other here. Today we even saw a kingfisher. A bench invites you to take a rest.

There are legendary lovers at this pond: a gander and a swan. Caution: Better to stay away from you! The small river that flows through this pond or feeds it is called Rodenbach.

With suitable light and calm there are wonderful reflections on the water surface - especially now in autumn with the colorful foliage this is a real feast for the eyes! :-) We recommend.

The bank will still be there in 2021 (at the bottom of the three ponds). Today we saw a beautiful heron and various kingfishers up close, unfortunately we didn't have a camera with us today ... :-(
