Pillnitz Castle Ferry - Dresden Kleinzschachwitz-Pillnitz Ferry Information: This ferry connects the left bank of the Elbe Cycle Path with Pillnitz Castle and is the only car ferry within the city limits of Dresden. When the Elbe River level is high, the passenger ferry operates instead. The Deutschlandticket (Germany Ticket) is accepted on this ferry.

Zuckerhut Viewpoint on the Hosterwitz Elbe slope. Information: Viewpoint with a bench and a view of the Elbe Valley. The paths are sometimes rocky and steep. The Zuckerhut is a hat-shaped hill (221 m) and a popular destination.

Especially in the warmer seasons, but also in the context of hardening during the colder season, it's recommended for many reasons to stroll along here in a light dress. It's a blessing for body and soul, and also a training in tolerance and appreciation. "Naturists certainly want to enjoy nature in a free and liberated way. They are not exhibitionists. Nude hiking or other nude outdoor sports are about peaceful and complete harmony with nature." Likewise, dare to shed old beliefs and clothes and walk in harmony with the magnificent nature surrounding the bridge.

It's probably a mountain bike trail in the forest, where we hiked a long way today, mostly uphill. We were amazed by the steep paths and the ramps that the daredevils probably ride down.

Haarweiden Reservoir in the eastern part of the Dresden Heath, near Ullersdorf. Information: This small reservoir was created in the 1930s by damming the Haarweidenbach stream. Since then, it has become a popular destination for outings. In 2009, a shelter with tables and benches was built on the shore, providing a rest area for hikers and walkers.

Viewpoint and bench at Kleiner Windberg with a view of Freital. Info: The Kleiner Windberg viewpoint (324 m) is the smaller counterpart to Freital's local mountain. It offers a beautiful view over Niederhäslich and Schweinsdorf.

View from the Leithenweg: Very nice for soaking up the sun in the dark season, for a detour to the winery or a beautiful view over the Elbe valley to the Hoher Schneeberg. In summer, unfortunately, the promenade is often very busy, but the steep path up is worth it.
