The Belchenhaus was built in 1898 as a shelter below the Belchen summit. It is located at 1,360 meters and is therefore the highest inn and restaurant in Baden-Württemberg. Great to visit even in winter! There is a parking lot in the immediate vicinity, but the way there is not cleared. So you should drive a suitable vehicle (all-wheel drive, for example). And always park respectfully. Better to avoid weekends if possible.

From the Todtnauer Hütte to the Hebelhof there is a very beautiful, level panoramic path with a view of the Wiesental and, on a very clear day, to the Swiss Alps. Todtnauer Hütte is closed on Mondays.
