There is not much to see of the former castle. The numerous information boards give you a good insight into the history of Hohenberg Castle. Benches with a great view invite you to linger

Impressive cave. I wasn't sure if you're really allowed up there because of the caution tape lying around. Has it been demolished or can you go up again? I then tried it cautiously, although the stairs with a missing step only seemed trustworthy to a limited extent.

Bronnen Castle sits enthroned on a rock at an exposed height. Several hiking trails meet here. The large information board at the gate to the bridge explains the saga about Bronnen Castle. Since it is privately owned, there is no access via the bridge.
