The Neuhewen is the highest volcanic cone in the Hegau (from the Celtic "hewen" = cone). Preserved: keep, remains of walls. Built in the middle of the 13th century for the Lords of Engen (Hewen). Mentioned in 1303-1308. Destroyed by Bavarian troops in 1639 during the Thirty Years' War. Repair work carried out in 1952 and 1962. Surrounded by a fence and not accessible. The remains of the former Honberg Castle are located high above the city. The two towers have been reconstructed. Every summer there is a 2-week tent festival with a large beer garden and various artists.
