At this point I would like to quickly say something about the source (whereby it corresponds to the art of poetry / if this 'source' is a 'fountain'): To quote the incomparable humorist Heinz Erhardt (1909 – 1979), who was known to a wide audience for his wordplay and “another poem,” with a short quatrain: "There's certainly a lot of beauty in it, on the element, the wet. Because you can drink the water. But you can leave it alone." (H.Erhardt)

The Brunnenwanderweg near Kaiserslautern is up to 16 km long. There are nine wells on this path.

The pavilion in the Karlstal Gorge is an absolutely picturesque eye-catcher on the Palatinate Forest Path stage between Finsterbrunnertal and Johanniskreuz.

The Rahnenhof is named after its last owner among the Leiningen counts, namely Johann Jacob Rahn (1744 – 1816). After his death, the (previously named) "Ludwigshoff" was given the name "Rahnenhof". Until now, I had completely overlooked a small fountain there (because the hut and the food there are just so great): The small Wolfsbrunnen (right next to the benches of the hut) has an old name stone and 3 small fountain basins from which the water flows from top to bottom - into the Breitenbach.
