The Holocaust Memorial in Neckarzimmern commemorates the deportation of over 6,000 Jews from Baden to the Gurs camp in France on October 22/23, 1940. It consists of a Star of David floor sculpture and memorial stones from 137 locations – designed by youth groups as a symbol against forgetting.
