A very nice location with a view of the Kornberg ski slope. The interior is also very nice outside. Thankfully, they're open again, so we don't want to complain too much, but there's still room for improvement.

A very nice restaurant with a lovely outdoor area. A great place for a break and a snack, they serve coffee and cake, and of course schnitzel and other dishes at a fair price. This is the perfect place to start your hike or mountain bike tour; there's plenty of free parking nearby.

The Kornberghaus - https://www.fichtelgebirge.bayern/detail/id=621cc809c7eac05a3bdd444c - is currently open Thursday to Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Generous portions, very tasty!

If the Waldsteinhaus is on the way, it's a must to take a break, friendly service, huge portions at reasonable prices. simply recommended. There are parking spaces on site so you have a good starting point for the upcoming tour. We will be back

Next to the hut there are a few steps up. From there you have a beautiful view of the Epprechtstein.
