Angermünde's old town, with its charming market square and partially preserved city wall, is a manageable size. It's easy to wander around at a leisurely pace. However, there's a narrow passage (underpass) near the train station that's not particularly pleasant for either pedestrians or cyclists. At the northern end lies the beautiful Mündesee lake, equipped with a spacious cycle path that runs close to the shore for a considerable distance.
