St. Lubentius Church in Dietkirchen was built as a Romanesque basilica and served as a collegiate church until around 800 AD. Today it is a Roman Catholic church. The relics of St. Lubentius are kept within the church. The Trinity Chapel is the Protestant parish church.

The Kurt-van-der-Burg Bridge connects Dietkirchen with the opposite bank of the Lahn River and is an important crossing for pedestrians and cyclists. It offers a beautiful view of the Basilica of St. Lubentius, which sits majestically on the rock above the Lahn.

The Basilica of St. Lubentius is the landmark of Dietkirchen and one of the oldest churches on the Lahn River. Majestically perched on a rock above the river, it has shaped the landscape for over 1,000 years. Its Romanesque architecture, with its impressive towers and historical details, makes it a significant cultural monument. From here, one enjoys a fantastic view of the Lahn Valley – a place steeped in history and tranquility.

The historic site dates back to the Middle Ages and sits atop a rock, giving it an imposing presence.
