The Imperial Castle is Nuremberg's landmark. From the castle, you have a magnificent view of Nuremberg. Even at night, when illuminated, it is beautiful to see. A very impressive building, even from the outside. A special highlight is the Männleinlaufen every day at 12 noon.

Hardly any tourist misses the Männleinlaufen (“Männlein procession”) in the gable of the Frauenkirche (Church of Our Lady) during their visit to Nuremberg: every day at 12 noon the church bells ring on the main market square and after the prelude of the trombone players, drummers and fifes, the figures of the electors parade past Emperor Charles IV.
