We passed through here on the third day of our Trier-Grünstadt tour. It's one of the most beautiful bike paths we've ever ridden.

From the Iron Bridge, you have a wonderful view of the Oberkirchen railway viaduct. If you continue along the Saarland Cycle Path toward Oberkirchen, you should also take another look at the Iron Bridge from below.

The narrow, flat trail winds through green, mossy ground and trees. In the sunlight it's almost like a fairytale forest! If you go up again at the back on the left, you'll come back to the starting point and continue on tour number 9.
