Beautiful little castle. However, it is only open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The ruins now have great information boards on which you can find the history of the castle and its builders as well as all kinds of information on the subject of castles. Highly recommended and brand new! Great photorealistic representations of the castle in its original state!

Great location for weddings and other celebrations. Now with a beer garden. A visit and/or short stop is worth it!

Beautiful, partially renovated castle steeped in history, apparently built on Roman blocks, but first mentioned in documents in the 13th century. There are events here, such as the current bridge festival, or a Christmas market. Looks good and has atmosphere. 👍🏻. And extremely friendly staff (2024) 👍🏻.

One of the most beautiful ruins in the Donau-Ries with great trails from Niederhaus to Hochhaus and further to Christgarten, highly recommended
