The historic Wartensee Castle, dating from the 13th century, is located on the Rorschacherberg hill. It also features a historic chapel, and the castle itself houses a Gothic hall. From the beautiful garden terrace, one has a breathtaking panoramic view of Lake Constance.

During the day, children use this unusual urban landscape to play, while employees of the surrounding shops take breaks on the comfortable seating. In the evenings, light sculptures suspended like floating boulders above the square illuminate the scene, drawing young and young-at-heart people into their glow.
