The Pfände towers high above Bregenz. Reachable by the Pfändebahn or on foot, it offers a brilliant view of the wide Lake Constance. At the top station of the cable car there is a wildlife park and several inns.

The Pfände (1064 m) is the most famous viewing point in the region with its unique view of Lake Constance and 240 Alpine peaks. When the weather is clear, the three-country view extends from the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps in the east over the Bregenzerwald, the steep peaks of the Arlberg area and the Silvretta, further over the Rätikon to the Swiss mountains and the foothills of the Black Forest in the west. At our feet lies Lake Constance, framed by the Rhine Valley and the Upper Swabian hills.
