The Jägerstübli on the Lombachalp is a cozy mountain inn known for its warm atmosphere and traditional Swiss cuisine. It offers an ideal rest stop for hikers. At the Jägerstübli you can enjoy regional specialties, including homemade rösti, alpine cheese and other local delicacies. The inviting terrace offers a wonderful view of the surrounding mountain landscape and is a perfect place to relax after a hike.

The Augstmatthorn in the Bernese Oberland is known for its large ibex population. The hike up there not only offers impressive views, but also the chance to observe these majestic animals in their natural environment. The trail to the Augstmatthorn often starts in Habkern or Lombachalp and leads through a diverse landscape. Once you reach the top, you have a good chance of seeing ibexes, which often graze in the rocky areas. The Augstmatthorn also offers spectacular panoramic views of Lake Brienz and the surrounding Alps, which more than rewards the effort of the climb.
