The rustic Kronenhütte is located at an altitude of 1,120 meters and is open year-round. Here, you can stop by and enjoy the legendary Käsespätzle (cheese spaetzle) on the sun terrace or in the cozy dining room. If you'd like to stay longer, you can also stay overnight at the hut. The Alpe Müllers Berg can also be easily reached from Großdorf-Vorderburg in 20 minutes. Unfortunately it was already closed in mid-October, otherwise we would definitely have visited it more often. Information about the Alpe + opening times: https://www.alpe-muellers-berg.de/

It's always nice to stop off at Alpe Müllers Berg. There are various snacks, cakes and drinks. Concerts are often held in the summer.

Popular destination for families with small children (animals and playground). Magnificent view over Lake Niedersonthofen into the mountains. Good cakes and snacks.

Unfortunately only Thurs-Sun. open! When we were looking forward to a delicious refreshment on a Tuesday, it was closed!
